วันที่ 5 มีนาคม พ.ศ. 2569 นางสาวกรองกาญจน์ เรือนแก้ว ผู้อำนวยการโรงเรียนบ้านแม่ที พร้อมด้วยนางเบญจมาศ เพชรทอง รองผู้อำนวยการ และคุณครูวัชรา อาจหาญ เข้าร่วมสนับสนุนโครงการวิจัยเรื่อง "ความชุกและปัจจัยที่เกี่ยวข้องกับพฤติกรรมการใช้บุหรี่ไฟฟ้าในนักเรียนระดับประถมศึกษาตอนปลาย" ซึ่งเป็นการศึกษาเชิงตัดขวางในพื้นที่จังหวัดสงขลา โดยโรงเรียนบ้านแม่ทีได้รับเกียรติ ให้เป็นหนึ่งในสถานศึกษาที่ได้รับการคัดเลือกเป็นกลุ่มตัวอย่างแบบสุ่มเพื่อเข้าร่วมการศึกษาในครั้งนี้

การเข้าร่วมโครงการมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาข้อมูลและหาแนวทางป้องกันปัจจัยเสี่ยงที่มีผลต่อสุขภาพของเยาวชน โดยโรงเรียนบ้านแม่ทีให้ความสำคัญกับการสร้างเกราะป้องกันให้นักเรียนรู้เท่าทันอันตรายของบุหรี่ไฟฟ้า เพื่อสุขภาวะที่ดีของนักเรียนและสร้างสภาพแวดล้อมที่ปลอดบุหรี่ภายในสถานศึกษาอย่างยั่งยืน

Banmaetee School Joins Regional Research Initiative to Study E-Cigarette Use Among Primary Students

On March 5, 2026, Principal Krongkan Rueankaew, Deputy Principal Benchamat Pechtong, and Ms. Watchara At-han represented Banmaetee School in supporting a significant research project titled "Prevalence and Factors Associated with E-Cigarette Smoking Behavior Among Upper Primary Students." This cross-sectional study, conducted within Songkhla Province, features Banmaetee School as one of the selected educational institutions included through a randomized sampling process.

The school's participation aims to gather crucial data and identify preventive measures against health risk factors affecting youth. By joining this initiative, Banmaetee School reinforces its commitment to building a "protective shield" for students—empowering them with the knowledge to recognize the dangers of e-cigarettes. This collaboration is a key step toward ensuring student well-being and maintaining a sustainable tobacco-free environment within the school premises.
