วันที่ 27 พฤษภาคม พ.ศ. 2569 นางสาวกรองกาญจน์ เรือนแก้ว ผู้อำนวยการโรงเรียนบ้านแม่ที และนางเบญจมาศ เพชรทอง รองผู้อำนวยการโรงเรียนบ้านแม่ที มอบหมายให้นายฮาโรน บิสลีหมีน ครูโรงเรียนบ้านแม่ที ร่วมกับคณะครู ดำเนินการจัดกิจกรรมรณรงค์เนื่องในวันงดสูบบุหรี่โลก 31 พฤษภาคม ประจำปี 2569 ณ โรงเรียนบ้านแม่ที กิจกรรมประกอบด้วยการให้ความรู้แก่นักเรียนบริเวณหน้าเสาธง เกี่ยวกับโทษ พิษภัย และผลกระทบจากการบริโภคผลิตภัณฑ์ยาสูบทุกรูปแบบ ทั้งบุหรี่ บุหรี่ไฟฟ้า และสารนิโคติน จากนั้นนักเรียนและคณะครูร่วมกันเดินรณรงค์รอบโรงเรียน เพื่อแสดงพลังและเจตนารมณ์ในการต่อต้านบุหรี่และสารเสพติดทุกชนิด สอดคล้องกับประเด็นรณรงค์ของประเทศไทย ประจำปี 2569 ว่า "หยุดยั้งเยาวชนจากยาเสพติด #นิโคติน เสพติด จน ตาย" เพื่อร่วมกันสร้างสังคมปลอดบุหรี่อย่างยั่งยืน

Banmaetee School Launches World No Tobacco Day 2026 Campaign, Mobilizing Youth Against Nicotine Addiction

On May 27, 2026, Principal Krongkan Rueankaew and Deputy Principal Benchamat Pechtong assigned Mr. Haron Bisleemeen, along with the faculty, to organize an educational campaign for World No Tobacco Day (May 31). The event was held at Banmaetee School to raise awareness about the severe health risks and impacts of all tobacco and nicotine products, including conventional cigarettes and e-cigarettes (vaping), during the morning flagpole assembly.

Following the educational session, students and teachers united for a campaign march around the school grounds, demonstrating their collective resolve to combat smoking and all forms of narcotics. This initiative aligns with Thailand's official 2026 World No Tobacco Day slogan: "Protecting Youth from Substance Abuse: #Nicotine — Addicted Until Death." The campaign successfully fostered a strong commitment to building a sustainable, smoke-free environment within the school and the wider community.
